Twelve years ago, on October 24, 2009, I published my first Collage of Life blog post from our expat home in Auckland, New Zealand. Shortly after, blogging worlds connected when Sharon published her first blog post from her beautiful home in Normandy, France. As is the way in the blogging world, we have been friends ever since.
At fifty, Sharon decided to pursue her passion for authentic French country living. Since then My French Country Home has evolved into a magazine and a wonderful quarterly subscription box of unique French-themed products in My French Country Home Box. MFCH also welcomes guests worldwide for specialized tours throughout France and sells a unique collection of French brands through MFCH Boutique. She is a delight to spend time with and I know you will feel the same.
We are taking a gentle step forward after a long hiatus during the fragile time we lived in with an intimate gathering in our quiet wilderness respite.
Sharon and I invite you to join us for an inspiring conversation on reinvention, a delicious country lunch, a walk along the Tahilla Farm Poetry Trail, and a chat around the Tahilla Farm fire bowl. We will have a gentle conversation about reinvention; hers, mine, and yours. Sharon will share the story of her entrepreneurial journey with My French Country Home, and I will talk about my journey in the expat world and finding Tahilla Farm. We invite attendees to share their thoughts and inspirations as we spend the day together at Tahilla Farm. Sharon will provide a few guiding questions to assist in your thought process ahead of the event.
Guests will enjoy a delicious hearty rustic country lunch, followed by a crisp walk along the Tahilla Farm Poetry Trail and a chat by the crackling outdoor fire as we continue the conversation around our Kadai fire bowl. As always, we aim to provide a relaxing and comforting space for guests to learn, dream, eat, and be inspired.
PLEASE NOTE: We ask that people are fully vaccinated to ensure guests enjoy a safe environment during their time at Tahilla Farm. Mask wearing is optional. We will be both indoors and out. Warm county attire is recommended.
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.
We hope you can join us for a future event!
